Volunteers guided by Skyberg Construction install beams to temporarily support a weakening stone wall on the second floor of Bauman Hall in 2020, prior to receiving MNHS grant funding to repair it in 2022! We have opportunities for students to learn proper heritage maintenance techniques and repairs, for example, wood window restoration and passive floor refinishing, that last 2-4 times as long as modern industry standards. Learn hands-on skills that you can apply to your own home and businesses!
Send us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org to get on the list to be a student or teacher, if you are trained in heritage restoration trades, we’d love to talk to you!
Jasper’s New Heritage Trades School Workshop in progress following our $173,000 investment into structural repairs in 2022, as part of the MNHS Legacy Amendment grant program. Watch and join our transformation by volunteering and donating!
